Cameron talks like he's in the Dead Poet's Society because this movie is a loose adaptation of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew." They really lean into the Shakespeare references and on rewatch I'm noticing how even the filming gives the feeling of watching a play. Like Joey talking to his friend about Bianca near the beginning when he says "no one is out of my reach," the staging is very play-like.

the best thing about this movie is that the break up didin´t take 8 scenes weeping about it. And that´s GREAT.

Where as some people would take advantage of someone who is as intoxicated as she was. So respect to patrick 🙌🏾

If you want to see a really good Heath Ledger movie I recommend A Knight’s Tale. Sweet story with an amazing soundtrack ☺️
