  Your Villiers motorcycle is British. Villiers sold out to Norton in the seventies. Parts are available through a company called Villiers Services.

  When I was about 10 years old in 1965, My father came home with a used white Honda 50. My dad thought it was a two-speed .  After riding it for a couple of days, I figured out that there were two more gears.  I rode the heck out of that little bike had so much fun throughout the summer.  Got that thing up to 55 mph on a downhill with the wind at my back. Rode that over to my buddy's house practically everyday. He lived about 5 mi away. Then he would hop on his Suzuki 80 and we would go trail riding to all the local hills. Prior to that we had a Cushman scooter and a Mobilette. My buddy had a mini bike similar to the one you have, but no shocks.  The shocks on the mini bike are hilarious going up to the seat. I remember seeing the bird mini bike ad I think and boys Life magazine. Ahhh the memories.

  That mini bike was sold in New Zealand. I installed a Sachs 50cc and 10 inch wheels knobly tyres. Got it road registered; rode it around my city. Quite an achievement age 14

  James ML125 manufactured between 1943 and 1948. Winston Churchill owned one! The Engine is a Villiers 9D single cylinder 2 stroke with twin exhaust ports. 122cc. They were known as The Clockwork Mouse.

  When I was a kid in the 70's that mini bike was the bomb. Every kid wanted one, I know I did.
