The only reason why wolves survived all the decades is that they are scared of people. Its biologically correct - wolves, that attacked people were just kiled and they did not breed. Wolves being scared of people can breed, because they are alive. That is exacly the same thing with bigger predators. If any predator is aggressive to people, he probably lives in hide, lives in places that were not people.
I'm from Poland and we got such a interesting experience with BEARS. There were a lot of bears in polish forests many years ago. But bear never ever learned that they should not touch people, so it was close to extinct in Poland. Now bear population is increasing, but there are only few places where the bears actually are. In past, bears were pathing through Poland, from east to north, form west to east etc..

I love wolves. They really don't want anything to do with people. I tend to agree with them more and more........they are wonderful creatures!

I never understood why in movies they are always portrayed like greedy monsters that tear you apart as soon as they get the chance. In documentaries they are always awry but distant from humans just watching them from afar never shown any aggression towards them just curiosity.

Centuries ago, wolves used to attack and kill people im Europe. Packs of wolves used to run through the streets of medieval Paris, terrorizing people. Stories like "The little Red Riding Hood" have their source in pre-Rennaissance times, when wolves were still one of the most feared predators in Europe.

makes sense! The wolves that were bold and stood their ground against humans were all eradicated over the last 300 years. We selectively bred them for extrem avoidance.

What kind of idiotic pro wolf propaganda ist this? There are countless stories about wolves attacking, killing and consuming people.
Be it children, lone wanderers, old people, wounded soldiers after a battle. Wolfs take what ever is unable to fight them.
