If you run you'll only die tired. Have a gun or Bear spray. You're never gonna outrun a lion.

We are in 2026 this video was postes 4 days ago. It is known now for many years with the help of a bite force test on a nearly mature male lion made in 2012 by the National Geographic saying both the lion and tiger have similar bite force about 1000 psi. In 2005 the bite force test was made on a two year-old male lion and it was not 650 psi but 691 psi, which is pretty good considering the young lion age. Many tiger bias propagandists are just geeping spreading the wrong information. After all these years they have no excuses. To be historically correct, the olddest and true title of the lion is not king of the jungle but "king of the beasts" it is a thousand years title comming from the antique Mesopotamia a land of the lion, Caspian tiger, brown bear and many other powerful animals. In antique India the lion was also considered king of beasts or king of the wilderness. Here is another wrong information "the lion is almost never hunting alone." STATISTICS SAYS LIONS HUNT ALONE ALMOST HALF OF THE TIME. "Of 1,300 hunts observed in the Serengeti, 48% involved only one lion, 20% involved two, and the remainder involved a group of three – eight (up to 14). Lions hunting in pairs and groups have a success rate of c. 30%. Lions hunting singly by daylight have a success rate of 17 – 19%, but are the equal of groups at night reopening the debate as to why lions became the only sociable cat; maybe it is to control exclusive hunting grounds. - The Behavior Guide to African Mammals: Including Hoofed Mammals, Carnivores, Primates by Richard D. Estes, 2012, p. 372. There are many documentaries and videos showing single hunts from a male lion and lioness. CONCLUSION: all lions learn to hunt in a pack, in duo and as lone hunters. As a lone hunter the single lion has the highest predator-prey weight ratio of all the large land carnivores. What is more remarkable a lion can bring down a big prey using brute force only. Lions used different hunting tecniques and they do make chases as well. A group hunt means many lions on a carcass. The lion roar is 114 decibals. Not all lions live in savana. There are exceptions. The Ethiopian lions live in forest, in India the male lions live in the forest and the lionesses and cubs in the open fields. In the Kruger Park the male lions live in the forest while the pride in the open fileds. The male lions are with their pride only 13% of the time. When male lions live in thick vegetation. The generally are lone hunters and ambush like any other big cats. Pound per pound the strongest, the braviest yes, but I don't think the lion is the most dangerous animal.
