Eddie reinvented himself right before their eyes. He said to himself that he refused to allow the media and peoples perceptions to limit who he knows, and believes himself to truly be. And he believes that he’s a person that can circumvent and rise above the negative characterizations or misconceptions that Hollywood and the media has of him. He did not succumb to defeat, but rose up in victory by portraying a totally different person, from how he was portrayed prior to that incident in 1997. Much love and respect to this icon and comedic genius. And more than just a comedic genius, but simply a genius
