  I&apos;ll save you 18 minutes. So they can get there in the morning, people deplane and they get on connecting planes and the planes keep flying to other destinations.

  When I was flying frequently from NYC to London, I preferred flying over during the day. &nbsp;I’d arrive in London ~ <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi5EsCCACUM&amp;t=1200">20:00</a> - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi5EsCCACUM&amp;t=1230">20:30</a>, grab the Heathrow Express to Paddington, buy a snack and a beverage at the Sainsbury’s in Paddington, and then either walk or taxi to my hotel. &nbsp;I’d shower, find something to watch on the TV, have my snack and go to sleep. &nbsp;The next day - no jet lag. &nbsp;Of course, I wasn’t flying there for work - it was always vacation. &nbsp;I just found it was more natural for me to arrive at night in London rather than arrive in the morning and fight to stay awake all day.

  My is an International Pilot for Delta from Seattle. His flights to Europe always leave in the evening but they group and over the North Pole. He’s has some pretty awesome pics of the Northern Lights.

  I live in Trinidad, the Caribbean island. On my early morning rides, it is a joy to see the many aircraft heading to North or South America using our airspace.

  I’m convinced that the reason airplanes land at Shannon, Ireland at 6am is so there are no local drivers on the road when Americans rent cars and turn the wrong way on the roundabout at the airport entrance. 😅

  most flights from europe to america are usually from around midday only the other way are they at night

  Ex-Airline above-the-wings ground crew, EWR, USA. It was fascinating to work at the &nbsp;Airport PM hours, handling East bound Trans Atlantic and beyond flights, as well as flights to the Heartland of America and to the Pacific Coast.
