  People often take kindness for granted and how angel get crude and abusive over Fluttershy over the seasons kinda make sense

  I&apos;m glad that Fluttershy managed to build more of her confidence and stand up to others during the later seasons. <br>To me she&apos;s more like a people pleaser. She wants to make sure everyone is happy and satisfied, even if that means she&apos;s getting mistreated. However, she also has an authority over herself what she thinks is disrespectful or uncomfortable to her and should address that immediatly. Even if people don&apos;t listen, you need to let them know you&apos;re putting your hoof down and that the decision is final. Even if it means raising your voice or being more assertive.<br>You are your own person. And with the help of those who truly care about you, you&apos;ll become a stronger individual for yourself.

  Fluttershy learned more lessons than people give her credit for, it&apos;s not so much &quot;she only learn the same thing&quot;, but more different ways to be kind without letting anyone go beyond your limits, something you always learn in life.

  Discord&apos;s Immortal conceptual Being is a curse and blessing for him, a blessing from just the sheer fun and limitless fun he has with his endless powers, a curse from not able to act totally differently as he fades when steers away from chaos too much, luckily fluttershy does not mind his chaos and felt safe using it post discordant harmony.

  Remember, in Trade Ya!, when Rainbow Dash traded Fluttershy for a book, and, in 28 Pranks Later, when she &quot;pranked&quot; Fluttershy by pretending to be a creature hunting her and her critter friends... in the woods... AT NIGHT!!! Then refused to apologize when she was confronted because she saw nothing wrong with making her friend think her life was in danger.<br>And you wanna say they have one of the healthiest friendships in the show.

  I believe it&apos;s not kindness that&apos;s bad, but learning to have empathy without believing that love means endurance. Fluttershy&apos;s whole character arc is about not being a people-pleaser or a doormat. Fluttershy has low self-esteem and is scared of setting boundaries because she believes they can be debated with the right person. Most characters have an arc related to their element. It&apos;s not always handled well. But I think Fluttershy has one of the better arcs for her element. There&apos;s no debate about which element she should be :0

  I think Applejack and Twilight have the healthiest relationship with Fluttershy. They’re the most patient with her and Applejack is almost always the one to comfort her when she’s upset

  I feel like all the main six elements/greatest strengths are also their biggest weaknesses. Like Apple Jack in Season 2 Episode 14, where she worked for Cherry Jubilee. She ran away because she had such a hard time inadvertently lying. She often struggles with being honest or with others feelings. Liek with the Flim Flam brothers cure, sometimes honesty can hurt others and it seems she has problems finding the balance.<br><br> Same with Rarity, I always took her pushiness as a form of mishandled generosity, as sometimes ppl think they are being generous when they give others new experiences, like the episode you mentioned Season 1, episode 20. Yes she was angry, and Fluttershy was not happy. I still think Rarity was trying even if it was totally wrong. I always thought of generosity as a form of sharing or inclusion. <br><br>Rainbow Dash always seems loyal to herself, and her ideas. SO when she&apos;s cocky she&apos;s being overtly loyal and stagnant, she sometimes needs to be less self-centered or she comes off as selfish. <br><br>Pinkie with her almost toxic need to make others happy, and it seems she connects her abilities to it with her self worth. <br><br>Fluttershy is sometimes just a people pleaser, she&apos;s polite but not kind. She allows others to do anything they want, but that leads to her detriment a lot. Kindness and Politeness is a fine line. &nbsp;<br><br>Etc Etc. Twilight is tricky, as magic isn&apos;t really a thing usually in friendship, I guess it&apos;s a metaphor for the feeling of making friends if you want to be technical. So her biggest weakness from the early seasons is her connection to magic I feel, she gets overly focused on it and her attachment to duty and rules. Like the episode where she made a friendship problem. She&apos;s just mainly a self-insert for ppl who have problems making friends, and who sees friendship as not a priority (in teh early seasons at least)

  Rarity and Fluttershy&apos;s friendship always struck me as a friendship that only works if Fluttershy stays where she&apos;s at socially essentially. <br><br>Because I remember that during the Gala build up when Rarity had to make all her friends dresses, Fluttershy actually designed a pretty sketch of a dress, and rarity gagged at it. I always found it strange since all the others were not trying to design a dress, but just wear their hobbies. <br><br>I&apos;m surprised Rarity didn&apos;t get jealous of Twilight becoming a princess before she did, since it was a early dream of her. <br><br>I&apos;m the end I love all these characters for how dynamic their personality can be
