  Long story short, when Queen were on tour in Spain, Freddie gave an interview and stated that Montserrat was the greatest voice. She heard this, and she knew full well who he was, her kids were Queen fans.. a few months later she was performing at the London Opera House, they met, and this amazing friendship grew. This song written by Freddie is about their first meeting, she is Barcelona in the song, he sent the tape to her, she loved it and said they should do something together, so Freddie and her did an album. When the Olympic committee heard this song they asked if they would perform it for the 92 Olympics in Barcelona, they said yes even though Freddie knew he would not be here. She performed it with a heavy heart.. outside the band and his family she was the only other who knew about his illness. Freddie called her a rock star, and she said Freddie was the most gifted talent and the kindest man she ever knew. This song, along with "Golden Boy" and "How Can I Go On" were performed at a few events welcoming the Olympic flag from South Korea to Barcelona. They became very close friends. One of her arias played at Freddies funeral, and she was present with the band and his family at the unveiling of Freddies statue in Switzerland, along with 1000s of fans.. May these two amazing singers RIP ❤❤

  They were supposed to perform this at the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics in Barcelona in 1992.......sadly and tragically Freddie passed away in November of 1991.   God, I miss this incredible man.   "I Still Love You" Freddie.....Rest in Paradise dear, sweet, amazing Freddie. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  I&apos;ve been obsessed with this song ever since I heard it and I love watching people react to it.😊 <br>Their whole album is beautiful. I highly recommend you react to &quot;How Can I Go On&quot; next. That&apos;s such a beautiful, but sad song, <br>it&apos;s my favorite of theirs. You can tell Freddy was singing about himself.😢

  Freddie Mercury had such a brilliant mind, and wonderful level of intelligence as well as being a lovely soul.<br><br>This song written for the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in the Spanish City of Barcelona is just a testament to the great man and showed just exactly what he was capable of.<br><br>A real masterpiece.👏🤝👍<br><br>Well done, Freddie!<br><br>RIP Freddie Mercury,<br>RIP Monserrat Caballe.
