  The 5 rules to survive making your first game as a company. <br>1) Don&apos;t follow the current gaming trend because it will be over by the time you finish development. <br>2) Don&apos;t get into Twitter wars with your potential customers.<br>3) Don&apos;t spend AAA game money unless you actually need to.<br>4) Have people outside the company actually test your game.<br>5) Don&apos;t let Microsoft or Sony buy you. There&apos;s a 50% chance you get shut down even if the game is amazing.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLqX3Pzhd1I&amp;t=369">6:09</a><br>People tend to scrutinize Fat Princess being in the game, but honestly she deserves to be in there more than like 2/3rds of the roster. FP was one of the biggest PSN games Sony had during the PS3 era, like it was unironically a million+ seller that pioneered Sony&apos;s online services. Had Sony actually committed to its success it had the potential to be Sony&apos;s Splatoon equivalent.

  Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale not having Spyro, Crash Bandicoot and Lara Croft, and having to go with reboot Dante, is like making a fighting game with DC characters but being told that you can&apos;t use Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman, and being told that you can put Lobo in the game, but it has to be New52 Lobo instead of classic Lobo(you know, the one that&apos;s good).

  During the section on Afro Samurai I was just thinking the entire time: &quot;OMG JUST GIVE IT TO GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE!&quot;. A stylish hack and slash based on a property that combines both American and Japanese culture? That&apos;s their bread and butter! Heck Grasshopper even made the Samurai Champloo game! They would&apos;ve been perfect for the Afro Samurai one!

  if theres one thing observing the games industry has taught me, its that nothing good ever follows when a studio asks you to sell your house and move to work for them, ive seen an uncountable amount of people whose futures went from promising to destitute because their new job vanished along with the house they bought to work for it
