  One of my favorite classic theories is definitely the Golden Freddy being in the kitchen, which is the reason why the camera is disabled. It's one of those grasping at straws theories, but that's why I like it. In fact, I don't think many people know this, but I'm pretty sure the prototype fredbear suit in sotm is actually a reference to this theory since you put on the suit where? That's right, the prototype kitchen.

  Gonna be fr for a moment, the slowed down Fnaf 2 jumpscare will always be ten times more terrifying than ANY OTHER JUMPSCARE IN FNAF HISTORY imo

  My favorite classic fnaf theory was that fnaf was based on the true story of a murder at a chuck E. cheese what matpat theorized in this 1st video

  For years I’ve been very proud of my own 11 year old’s brain for thinking up a theory that your player somehow looked similar to the purple guy and is why they come after you. It originated as the guard uniform was the same as the one worn by the killer, and them being kids couldn’t remember his face and just went after anyone who had that uniform to you straight up looked near identical. I was super proud of myself for that one lol

  To this day I am convinced that Dream Theory was true and Scott just denied it as soon as he saw the massive wave of backlash, and then came up with some other answer. <br><br>I don&apos;t think he made the first 3 games with it in mind, but I think he made 4 with the intent of saying &quot;this is a neat way to tie a bow on the whole thing&quot; and then when he realized it was a bad idea, he just changed what 4 meant to the rest of the series.<br><br>Would make sense why that&apos;s still the game that makes the least amount of sense...

  Really nice vid!<br>And yeah, at this point, with Scott even saying the contents of the Fnaf 4 Box have changed over the years, it is kinda likely that Dream Theory was prolly intended by Scott back when the game first released, prolly got retconned due to backlash.<br>It&apos;d be kinda funny to imagine how the franchise would&apos;ve fared had there been less backlash to it!
