  It&apos;s entirely possible that, within the games&apos; continuity, there never were any experiments. Those &quot;observation&quot; rooms shown on the Breaker Room map could genuinely just be his house (Midnight Motorist) to keep an eye on whoever owned those rooms.

  Lowkey shocked that you didn’t bring up Dead by Daylight’s version of William Afton because he’s probably the best official iteration &nbsp;of the character plus he’s entertaining as hell with his cheesy ass dialogue and one liners

  One thing I just now realised that I find quite interesting is that if you look at &nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1PCfPd4IWQ&amp;t=483">8:03</a>, during Charlie&apos;s death there isn&apos;t any blood - not is there any in the Fnaf 2 (Game) depiction of her death. I might be pulling at straws here, but could this potentially mean it was a crime of impulse and passion, more than it already was anyway, where William instead of his typical use of knives strangled Charlie to death. Which would explain the lack of observable injuries and how in Fnaf 2 there wasn&apos;t any blood and she was crying for quite a while before going to the ghost sprite.<br> Now this isn&apos;t SUPER important but it&apos;s another point to make towards Williams first kill - he was drunk and angry in MNM and clearly sped off quickly, noted by the skid marks. It also fits with this being his first kill, most murderers don&apos;t plan their first kill - typically it&apos;s in self defense or a moment of rage. So this just adds further to Williams motivations.

  Random thought - what if the phantoms in FNAF 3 are some manifestation of PTSD? They mess with the systems for gameplay reasons, but in reality they’re all in Mike’s head while he sees good ole Spring-Dad walking around. Reason being? Dittophobia and the fan favorite nightmare gas - Mike experiences the nightmare experiments, and then later in life when he comes across his dad once again, he has flashbacks to the nightmares, mixed with his experience in the other restaurants. But that’s just a theory - a sleep deprived, post work game theory.

  I think the book&apos;s near word for word description of Afton having border line personality disorder and the movies implying narcissism. I think Afton killing is generally motivated at attacking indirectly whomever he is obsessed with. Henry, but also maybe Edwin (his wife dies at a Fazbear adjacent event, his kid fits Afton&apos;s victim profile).<br><br>Even the deaths at Fazbear&apos;s could have all been directed at Henry considering how Henry seems to blame himself.<br><br>But I think his be all, end all, motive was stated in FNAF1. One of the articles has a statement from an unnamed executive. “These characters will live on. In the hearts of kids- these characters will live on.” -CEO<br><br>I believe this statment hints at his goal having always been immortality but not necessarily of himself, but of his creations (or the things he decides are his, because it seems he&apos;s like a kid who takes other kids&apos; toys out of envy). In the end, it IS about HIM. He IS the genius. He IS the fun one! So why are you looking at Henry, his creations are based on mine. Yes, Fiona created some characters but they also belong to ME. They are MINE. Edwin, sure he&apos;s smart, but his springlock suits don&apos;t have the finesse MINE do. Solved the water problem? What water problem? <b>snap</b>

  I&apos;d argue that, even though it&apos;s almost certainly what Scott is going for, the immortality motivation is probably the least interesting option. Him killing Charlotte as &quot;revenge&quot; against Henry&apos;s creations killing CC, then finding the possessed puppet is probably the best middle ground between the options of &quot;Searching for immortality the whole time&quot; and &quot;He just like killin&quot;. Even then, I&apos;d say that a man who kills for no other reason than the joy it brings him is much more terrifying.

  In pizza sim; William afton gains a new colour connotation, that of which is yellow. Fruity maze establishes this with the rabbit both the drawing and the game(also the dog is yellow implying he killed it) so there isn’t much wiggle room to suggest peanut man isn’t William who is incredibly drunk. The yellow could signify that he had killed someone ( Charlie) because William is only ever seen killing someone (before or after) in yellow.
