  Great video brother! Malaysian &nbsp;first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman donated USD 33,000 in 1962 to fund the contruction of the first Korean Central Mosque. Might be that mosque.

  Korean American here, thanks very much for an interesting and somewhat rare YT take on the Korean Muslim community in Seoul! As another commenter indicated, it&apos;s worth pointing out that the lovely masjid/mosque you visited was built in the 70s pretty much exactly as big as you saw in the present day. It was constructed more or less as a diplomatic (and perhaps PR) move by the military government of the time who were interested in improving economic ties with Muslim-majority nations. I can&apos;t link it but there&apos;s a good summary and photo gallery of the opening on english Wikipedia for &quot;Seoul Central Mosque.&quot; It&apos;s very moving to see you were able to meet and worship with fellow Muslims from all over the world. I&apos;m a Buddhist in the Korean tradition and hope that the substantial Korean tradition of pluralist tolerance can win out over forces of hate and division which grow across the world these days, sadly.
