  Please note that a recent study has demonstrated that fipronil, which is the active ingredient in Taurus SC and Termidor, is unlikely to kill the termite colony. &nbsp;Therefore, I am now recommending that you treat with Imidacloprid 2F Select T/I. &nbsp;The treatment is exactly the same, except you mix Imidacloprid 2F Select T/I at 0.6 ounces per gallon of water instead of 0.8 ounces per gallon like you would with Taurus SC. &nbsp;Taurus SC will stop the infestation, but you may be attacked again after the residual ends in 5 to 10 years because the colony has not been eliminated.<br><br>Imidacloprid 2F Select T/I: &nbsp;<a href="https://www.domyown.com/prime-source-imidacloprid-2f-ti-p-12208.html?sub_id=12209">https://www.domyown.com/prime-source-imidacloprid-2f-ti-p-12208.html?sub_id=12209</a>

  so if I trench and use the poison what happens to the termites (subterranean) that are now cut off from the nest? If they try to get back to the nest will they build tubes from the top to the underground? My tubes (two) are really small but they did have some good traffic (prior to trenching) seemed to be one way.

  I&apos;ve watched your videos since I bought my first house in northern California back in 2022. I&apos;ve had my house fumigated before moving in and traditionally, every 6 months I&apos;ve been using the granules around the house. No termites ever since. I&apos;ve suddenly ran out of Bioadvanced Granules and now I cannot buy them anymore, locally or online. <br><br>I&apos;ve read through Imidacloprid and I might have found a vendor to ship to me. Question, it says it&apos;ll last 5-7 years, wouldn&apos;t I need to redo trenching after 7 years but if choose Taurus, I&apos;ll redo trenching after 10 years.

  Amazing channel!!! Hopefully you can help me out. One of my family members house was getting a bathroom renovated. But along the way of demoing the old wood laminate, it was discovered that the wood laminate had termites in it. With parts of the subfloor wood with termites as well. <br><br>We live in the Texas panhandle area close to Amarillo. So far it seems like its subterranean termites. And they have reached 10 to 15 feet inside the home around that bathroom. But after further investigating, underneath the crawl space home which is pier and beam by the way. They are three of four different entry points with termite activity and indications they have been significantly all around underneath the home. With the most damage and activity around that bathroom and in the water heater area. <br><br>I also noticed outside near that bathroom there is a water leaking broken condensate pvc pipe which I already extended farther away from the home. We had bought the terminate traps, the spectracide concentrate and the foam. But now we are thinking we should go ahead and dig a trench instead and use termicide instead of granules right away? Also I heard if its pier and beam that you have to trench outside and in the inside of the concrere beam in the crawl space... is this true? And would it be better to use the bait stations with the trelona bait cartridges along with trenching? Or what would be your advice?... also should we wait to continue demolition on that old flooring in that restroom or what should we do?

  hi ihave a question that i hope you can help with. i have a tiny 200 sq ft cabin in the woods that i just found subterranean termites eating the shiplap wood wall behind a bookcase. its the only damage i see, about a 12&quot;x6&quot; area, is it likely that my entire place is full of them even though i dont see any other damage? also my cabin has a very low deck surrounding 3 sides so i can not get under it and trench up against the cabin. i plan to trench around the deck instead, will that be a successful plan? i got Bayer 03780574 Premise Foam Termiticide to treat the inside. i am in northern illinois incase that matters and the soil is a normal soil, maybe a bit on the sandy side but not a lot.

  Iam living in gambia. On my yard there is a big termite mud nest, but no termites in my house. They like dry leaves. What is your advice?

  Hello, I just saw mud tubes leading up from the front of my house and upon opening them saw what I believe are called subterranean worker termites. &nbsp;I live near Austin Texas.<br>And I see you now recommend Imidacloprid 2F Select TI, and I was looking at the page you linked in the comments, and &nbsp;it doesn&apos;t list &quot;Termite Trenching&quot; in the applications field and seems to mostly suggest soaking applications or sprayer applications, so my question is, do you still recommend termite trenching with it? &nbsp;And if so at what concentration per gallon?<br>Thank you for the very informative video and taking time to help so many people.

  My house is an 18 yeas old concrete slab home and I&apos;m seeing some termite activity. I have heavy landscape fabric and decorative rock and large scrubs around the home making trenching difficult. My original idea was to pull the decorative rock and landscape fabric back a few inches. pull a little dirt back away from the foundation to make a shallow trench. Then filling the small trench with the Taurus SC .6% solution several times letting it soke in each time, until I use the recommended amount. My soil is a clay loam. Could this work? I also have a 3/4&quot; expansion joint between the house and the concrete patio. Can I fill the expansion joint several times with the .6% solution letting it soak in each time until I use the recommended amount instead of drilling holes in the concrete? Any suggestions?

Can I install termite killing stations in the yard just outside the landscape 3&apos; to 4 ft from the home every 5&apos; or so using an auger drill digging 6&quot; holes 3&quot; or 4&quot; in diameter. Filling the holes with .6% Tauris SC solution several times letting it soak in well. Then putting a 6&quot; long piece of pine or Balsa wood in the hole to attract the termites. Then treating the fill dirt and covering the holes. If you think this might work, should I also soak the wood in the Taurus SC 6% solution? Do you think this would be effective to eliminate the colony and protecting the home? Any suggestions?

  Hello Guy! I live in rural Arizona in a house that is two stories above ground with a basement/laundry room that is underground. Surrounding the upper level of the house is concrete. There is 22 feet of concrete pad (which serves as a driveway) on one side of the house, so there is 22ft of space from the desert dirt to the house. The walls of the basement are cinderblock. The ceiling to the basement is the floor of the main level, and I discovered a drop tube in the basement ceiling (the same side of the house as the 22ft concrete pad) which is also next to a fireplace upstairs and a smaller one directly below in the basement that is surrounded by stone and brick. I have seen a few live termites that have fallen from the drop tube. The tube has broken a couple of times but has been repaired overnight. What is the best course of action?? I thought I should use termidore foam in the ceiling and along the ceiling/cinderblock wall. What do you recommend? Would a trench be beneficial, considering the distance of the concrete surrounding the house? The house is 40+ years old. And the floor on the main level is tile, and the house is covered in stucco. I thought my situation was different than others who have dirt or landscaping that comes right up to their house. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you
