With 20,000 new units hitting the market, things are about to change fast. Do you think this massive supply wave is going to crash rental prices, or will the demand keep up? Drop your predictions below! 👇

Finally someone with something we can use to understand the market. Pleased to see you took time to give us this information and not sharing how much a soup costs in Da Nang!

Not just these Big project units are coming . The Mom and Pop tear down /rebuilds happening all up and down the peninsula is thousands of more units . I have seen more than 100 coming within a couple blocks . Seemingly Every 1 and 2 story and many 3-4 story buildings are being torn down and going back up again at least double the height . 2 units becoming 6 , 4 units becoming 8-10 all up and down almost every street from the Han River to the beach and from below Cho Bac My An all the way up . It must be several thousand in the works just by the time you get up to the Dragon Bridge

You should have mentioned the insane noise from Panoma construction. We rented in the second building. Had a massive flood. Owner wouldn’t tear up floors due to mold concerns. Had to move out. Also, the elevators are constantly broken. Also the glass balcony railings are a major concern. No attachment points on the side. Serious safety concern. What a joke of a building project.

There are many thousands more coming online when you get further away from the area you covered. I'm in the FPT area and I think there are thousands of units being built here, and they are renting a lot of them to foreigners. Also, it looks like there's a major development on what might be a man-made island in the river. If you go south along the river towards Marble Mountain there's a development there that looks like it's near completion, including what looks like a new bridge.

Good video. Nice to see there will be a housing price correction since prices have been rapidly climbing the past few years

Have you considered the extra demand from new people moving into Da Nang that may fill the new housing stock? Although those moving to Da Nang are the more budget conscious it could signal a transition of the type of person coming to Da Nang.

There are also a lot of smaller 6-8 floor units being built in the FPT area - a lot. Every street seems to have construction.

Although 20,000 additional units is a lot, I wonder aren't there maybe 20,000 additional expats/foreigners joining Da Nang year-on-year? Would be interesting to know how the additional units stack up against the additional bodies arriving in Da Nang 😅
