  I dont think Snape would be under any obligation to agree to the vow regardless if Bellatrix suspects him of being a double agent because all Snape would have to say is &quot;I do as my lord and ONLY my lord commands. If he wants Draco to be the one to kill Dumbledore then thats his task, not mine to aid in. As the boy will likely fail, it is as the dark lord wills, so shall it be&quot; ...etc if anything I feel it could even give Snape a more cold a ruthlessness to him. Bellatrix might even respect that because of how cold it is. Honestly as I was typing it, I imagine Rickman&apos;s voice and gave me shivers.

  I disagree with the notion that Snape <i>had</i> to agree to the Unbreakable Vow or risk exposing his true loyalties for one simple reason: Voldemort gave the task to <i>Draco.</i> He could very simply argue that he would not go against Voldemort&apos;s wishes, as it was meant to be a test of loyalty for Draco. If Draco failed, then it was not for Snape to cover for him.

  A healthy Dumbledore annihilated all the deatheaters in the Ministry single handedly within seconds. The confrontation on the Astronomy tower would be over before you know it. The only question is what would become of Draco afterwards

  You know what impresses me? &nbsp;Dumbledore managed to &quot;destroy&quot; the Horcrux that Voldemort had turned the Resurrection Stone into, a required part of which is to &quot;utterly destroy the object, beyond any hope of repair&quot; - and yet, it CONTINUED to function as the Resurrection Stone!<br>So then, the Peverell brothers were FAR more skilled than Voldemort!<br>Maybe they used Ancient Magic to create the Hallows...?

  I don&apos;t think Snape would agree to the Unbreakable Vow in this case.<br>He could call Bellatrix out saying &quot;It&apos;s childish to attempt to enforce your will on others using the Unbreakable Vow. The Dark Lord trusts me; you are effectively questioning the Dark Lord&apos;s ability to precieve threats around him. Perhaps we need to discuss this matter with him directly?&quot;<br>Which would put Narcissa against Bellatrix, since she doesn&apos;t want Voldemort to know about their visit. Snape would avoid the Unbreakable Vow, claiming it&apos;s more important to keep tabs on Dumbledore, than being forced into a situation where he is exposes, yet promising to aid Draco as much as he can, even if it&apos;s unspoken that he will do what he can to protect Draco from Voldemort when Draco fails.

  I can’t remember the exact wording, but in the book when Dumbledore tells Harry, he is not worried that he is with Harry. It’s one of my favorite lines from the whole series. I can’t be sure but I think Harry says that he will be fine because he’s with Dumbledore a few times in the sixth book, but I think through the whole series he says it a few times I just thought it was really cool for someone like Dumbledore always seeming so powerful finally turning more relatable that he’s just a normal human like anybody else

  Draco would most likley have been cornered and then put into hiding at the start of the year. <br><br><br>Snape on the other hand would be put in the situation where he would have to either be outed. He never would have agreed to Narcissas request in the first place, he would probably have just thrown them out and told them he has no interest in joining the sinking ship of &quot;Malfoy&quot;. <br><br>As for Harry, Dumbledore may simply not even have Harry join him in his horcrux hunt and i doubt Voldemort would have tried to take over the ministry, he was to afraid of Dumbledore to do so in the first war despite being on the verge of &quot;winning&quot; it.

  This is good. Snape didn&apos;t need to make Unbreakable Vow. He could have just say&quot;what Voldermort wants with Draco is no business of mine&quot; I agree.Imagine him saying that. Belatrix and Narcissa would accept it. But he would still be there,protecting Draco and killing Dumledore as he and Snape planned. Really powerful moment. Nice message at the end. Nice magic flash

  The blue avada kedavra beam tells me Snape didn’t kill Dumbledore with it because no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t “mean it” he actually died from the fall, the impact
