The fact that none of your bolts ended up down on the ground or bounced into somewhere else is either a credit to your mechanical or editing ability.

Glad to see you back on this. It sounds like you've figured out the interchange issues 🤞

I've had luck with getting lines made up at Princess Auto on a Saturday afternoon... It's good you fought that one off. You'd have hated to spray everything with oil when you started it up😮😃

Your comment about the chain hoist/come along resembles me. Buy it after you don’t need it

I run a dehumidifier in my shop/garage during the summer. I use a condensate pump attached to the dehumidifier and a hose going outside so I never have to empty anything. It is so nice to walk into the shop/garage on a hot humid day. With low humidity it feels way cooler even if the inside temp is the same as the humid outside temp.

I just added a 1/4 ton (500#) chain fall to my assorted collection. Bought it from Amazon for less than $40 and for another $25 I also bought a sliding carriage that fits on UniStrut. That chain fall is sweet. It is light enough that rigging is a breeze. It lives on the Unistrut trolley next to my mill. I am getting on the long side of the 70's and can't lift the vises, dividing heads, etc. as well as I used to. I didn't realize they had less than half ton chain falls (which I have) but that quarter ton unit is really nice when you are hooking up over your head. A goodly amount of chain on it also. Well worth getting. In fact I am probably going to get another just for when you are moving something in two planes. Most things I lift are under 500# and that unit doesn't weigh eight!

Take a gander at 'Farmlife 101' with John. There is an episode a year or so ago where he sourced his own 'O' rings and seals, etc. He gives you the manufacturer's catalog where you can look up by size the seals, 'O' rings, wipers etc. There are a couple of outlets with huge catalogs covering about anything you could need when it comes to hydraulics and other things. You can buy them by profile, dimension, type of plastic or rubber. So you aren't dependent on a 'kit'. Might solve your problem. All the work to get to them it is a shame to put them back with old seals and 'O' rings. Those are time sensitive as well as hours of operation.

Cole, a little trick on those hard-to-reach fittings, I learned when I replaced the swing hoses on my Case 580CK backhoe. Buy one of those handheld induction heater kits with the replaceable wire tips, go to HF when they have a sale on SAE and Metric wrench sets( usually around $15 each set), and buy one of each set, buy bigger ones if you need to, not ICON, the cheaper sets. Then I used my induction heater to heat the handle close to the wrench end and bend it in the direction I needed to fit. It worked great! I needed a long wrench, so I bent another one to the fitment size, cut off the other wrench side, and welded it to a longer steel bar, the right length for me to have the leverage to loosen the fitting. After it was loose, I used a regular wrench to undo it. It worked when tightening it back up, too. It works better than a torch because it is a more centralized heat, and you can get a sharper bend. Oh, and crow's feet help too, but I ended up grinding the sides so they would fit in my valve body area. The hoses are tight in there. Also, I use my air chisel with the flat tip to get some of the fittings started moving. The hoses were getting replaced, so I didn't worry about nicking them up. Great job as always.
