If you have pads that are"toast", cut the pads up into small sections and use them to clean tight spaces like door cups by hand.

I think this demonstration would be even more helpful if it were revisited after you've had a little more time with the Lake Country System 4000. There are a few techniques that can make a noticeable difference in how well it cleans the pad.

From what I've learned, it's best to gently press the pad against the cleaning solution first so the face of the pad becomes fully saturated. Then, with the polisher on a low speed, work the pad around the raised blue dome inside the bucket to help loosen and flush out the polish residue. Check the pad and, if necessary, repeat the process until it's clean.

Once you're satisfied, lower the pad into the bucket without contacting the dome and increase the speed to spin out the remaining water. The pad can then be left to dry or used immediately—the slight dampness can actually help keep the pad cooler while polishing.

I hope this is helpful. Thanks for taking the time to make the video and share your experience.

How I can pads? When I polish a car, I use 2 pads. I start by soaking the pads in a rinseless wash solution, then squeeze out solution. I then will spin the pad to dry out before use. I'll keep a clean pad ready to go when my current pad gets soiled. Then I switch pads to a clean one, and keep switching back & forth until finished. At the end on the job, I have a pre-wash bucket of pads & mf towels, let them soak over night before washing. After washing, I let towels & pads air dry.

I use Spray Nine on the pad and clean the microfiber pads with a brush exactly as you demonstrated. No need for a pad washer.

Good video. I thought for the pad washer you would touch the pad into that top part while running the polisher thinking there is little ridges to clean the pad, like light pressure grinding it. But I guess you are pushing down on it to get the solution to spray up into it and kinda squeezing the foam or wool or MF pad and agitating it kinda while it is off, and then lift it off a bit keeping under the top rim line and just spin cycling it to spray it off clean.

Lake country pad washer loaded with Feynlab rinseless v3 gives me an awesome clean without anything left on the pad.

When using the pad cleaner you missed the step of turning the polisher on and agitating by pressing the wet pad against the ripples on the top of the pad washer. The. Spun it dry. If you don’t want to spend the 200+ on a pad washer, spin the wet pad against the ripples in a paint tray

The pad cleaning bucket is nice. For as much as i polish my vehicles it would be just in my way most of the time. While im polishing I just take a 5 gallon bucket and put 2 gallons of rinseless in it. Then just dip the pad, still attached to the polisher into the rinseless. If you have a direct drive polisher youll have to work the pad with your fingers, if not you can just spin the pad in the rinseless. Then pull the polisher halfway out and pull the trigger and spin the rinseless out ofvthe pad. Good to go.
I run some 2 inch masking tape around the rim of the bucket which helps keep the rinseless thats being flung off the pad in the bucket. It works pretty well and the rinseless cleans the pad well.

Think maybe you should try using gloves before spraying APC all over your hands. Just a thought
