  It's a pity that none of the Mike Judge animated worlds ever crossovered. Think of Hank Hill dealing with Beavis and Butthead, especially since Mr. Anderson is an early version of Hank.

  I always thought that the reason Daria never mentioned Beavis and Butthead, is purely because they were idiots. While she tolerated their existence, anyone directly associated with her, didn't know that Beavis and Butthead existed, then again there's also a good chance Daria never spoke about what the guys were doing.

  Daria gives me the DuckTales/Darkwing Duck vibes in which there is the same character but acts differently in the other show.

  I’ve always considered Daria, Beavis and Butthead, and KOTH to all share the same universe - no matter how contrived or nonsensical it is when you look too hard.

  The show Daria came around for me at the perfect time. A drab, sarcastic, teenage girl with glasses who is just so <b>over</b> everyone around her. I was in middle school when that show started and it was like literally seeing my life on TV.<br><br>I had a cat named Daria (which my grandma couldn&apos;t pronounce and it always sounded like &quot;Diarrhea &quot;). I got hit by a car walking home from school in 9th grade and paramedics had to cut my shirt off of me--and I was so sad about it because it was my Daria shirt. That was my <b>show</b>

  Now that MTV is dead I can only hope that someone leaks the original Daria tapes with the awesome music cues. &nbsp;I want to hear Alice in Chains play &quot;Rooster&quot; when Daria wanders in the paintball forest, parodying Platoon. &nbsp;I want to hear the absolutely melting MCA bass line intro for Beastie Boys &quot;Grattitude&quot; when Daria has to get the returning High School hero jock to step away from her locker. &nbsp;I want to hear that Foo Fighters lovely song Aurora played over the credits that one time.

  Daria occupies the same universe as Middle Aged Beavis &amp; Butt-Head. This was all but confirmed by Judge and Abby, Daria&apos;s series creator.

  Even though Beavis and Butthead never crossed over, I always had the assumption the writers never forgot Daria did start from that series and as a result, Daria encountered characters who did indeed have slight reminders of them. Those characters being Upchuck for his perverse nature, Britney and Kevin two people who share a braincell, and Jane&apos;s brother a rock band enthuseist. I wouldnt be shocked if they were inspired by Beavis and Butthead a bit, but thats probably a coincidence.
