NASCAR is dead. And it's never coming back. The grandchildren add nieces and nephews were ashamed and they tried to turn NASCAR into the Indy 500. NASCAR rest in peace

I used to be a huge NASCAR fan. As big as any. It has changed so much that now I wouldn't go to a race if it was FREE!

Became hooked on Winston Cup as it was known as back in the day, 1976 through 2014, no longer follow at all, for a shit load of the reasons discussed in video

They used to race at my hometown twice a year (Riverside Raceway). I met Neil Bonnet in a local bar and we bought each other beers. That was a treat.

Yep, we used to get my whole family in the infield for $20... BBQ-ed the whole weekend and then shared a left-over cold one with a few drivers after the race... life was good; we didn't really know how good it was.

So, whats the solution? Id say tell the manufacturers to fuck off, find new sponsors, let teams build their own chassis again and contract with aftermarket block manufacturers to supply blocks that the teams build. Id go back to solid axles and 1000 horsepower , and somehow lower ticket prices and parking
