Sounds like a different experience than we enjoy in Bandhavgarh. We have what we consider the best guide, the person that other guides acknowledge. Had sightings of up to 2.5 hours long with no other vehicles or only one or two. Spent an hour with the D1 male last November, 20 minutes of that on our own. Him just walking down the road scent marking from side to side. Yes, we have brief sightings as well.

Yes, India can be "tricky" - Having been a few times to Kanha, Pench, Taboda and Satpura, expectations are now well and truly managed. We did a YouTube on our experience, showing the good, the bad and the ugly. For India, its the same as Kruger and increasingly it would seem, the Mara and Serengeti:
Avoid weekends and holidays, take the routes less travelled and embrace everything - those are the keys to success.
Maybe you guys could ask Pangolin if you could use their on-site studio to do a podcast, and include Richard & Mark too for a 4-way discussion?

While it sucks you two won’t pod together as much as you’d like, it’s fantastic it’s because you’re both so busy growing your channels and business and following your passions. My wife and I will be in South Africa in July spending 5 nights on the HWE, 3 nights in Timbavati, and then trying Umgede Hide for 3 nights. We cannot wait. Hopefully we’ll be able to get into Kruger for some self driving if petrol is available.
Keep up the great work. So glad that you guys are going from strength to strength

Not only I won't be able to visit South Africa anytime soon, but I won't be seeing my favourite podcast from SA anytime soon. Bad news are coming from all directions. Take care guys.

Great listening to you guys! If possible, you should add Nepal as a potential destination. The largest of the tigers are found there, and you can also do on foot safaris!
