  I showed the thumbnail of this video to my partner and he is very determined to make sure that you know it looks SO much like an orchid mantis. And now I&apos;m going to actually watch the video XD<br><br>eta: To clarify I do mean that in a good way that is his favorite bug. And before you did the gold spraypaint over the filigree it was Especially orchid mantis-esque. The finished product looks fantastic! But also have you considered: bug armor?

  For the rejected pieces at the 12 min mark--maybe you could make skeleton armor? Skeleton armor would be pretty banged up, right? So maybe you can work the accidental wonkiness into battle damage or something? Damaged armor is a whole other vibe, because it means the wearer has been through battles yk? Knight in shining armor vs. Knight in broken armor, something something perfection implies never facing hardship, something something a failed Knight who died in battle protecting the weak, only to be raised from the dead and becoming the malice they fought to destroy.

  You may have already considered this before, but have you considered spraying the inside with the poster board with a thin layer of plastic dip? It could protect it from water and sweat as well as helping to strengthen it.

  On the crochet thing, ive been crocheting for 2ish years now. I recommend getting an ergonomic hook- theyre worlds better and make it feasible to crochet for long periods without destroying your hands- &nbsp;and metal tapestry needles for weaving in ends. Those &apos;yarn needles&apos; are really only useful for chenille yarn, every other yarn is awful trying to pull it through. Also, the Walmart brand mainstays acrylic yarn is actually softer and better than redheart in my opinion
