The Declaration of independence can't be that well guarded if Nic Cage managed to steal it

Dear narrator, please say, "EA Sports, it's in the game!" - I know you're the guy.

The one thing that struck me when I saw the Mona Lisa was just how stunning some of the artwork in that room is that pretty much everyone walks past to get to the Mona Lisa.

That was ballsy even back then to send a multimillion dollar gem with no protection... they got lucky.

When King Tut's death mask visited the USA I was able to see it. Pictures do not do it justice. It is so wonderfully made that if one could touch it, it would feel warm and give way to the touch like flesh.

The mask of King Tut travelled as late as the early 1980s where I was able to see it in exhibitions both in Munich and in Cologne, Germany.

It's truly crazy to think how valuable, how incredible Tutanhkamun's mask is. And then when you realize that he was just a second rate boy king, son of an apostate king, who was buried in a hurry in a tomb not built for him, wearing a mask quickly assembled and built for a woman. And these are among the greatest treasures we have ever found from ancient Egypt. Just imagine what we have missed.

As a Canadian veteran, I was on a regimental exchange that had our rifle company replace the royal guard for 1 month. I’m still impressed with the security the Crown Jewels are protected with.

Excellent video! So well presented ... the documentation and history of every item was both informative and entertaining. There are almost too many 'top' lists in the YouTube galaxy, but Top Fives is now my most favorite of all. :medal-yellow-first-red:♥

Fun fact: Argon gas is usually what is in “insulated windows”. It is heavier than Oxygen so it keeps its density for a longer period of time. When you have a “foggy” window that’s on the inside, it is because the Argon gas seal has broken and Oxygen has replaced it.
