The reason why the cars are parked over at Woodbine mall is because they're protesting at the casino so they're blocking the entrances for 15 minutes for each car before they let one through. So people rather park over the mall side and walk over to the Great Canadian Casino that's what it is called now

My childhood was spent going to either the Woodbine Mall or Westwood Mall. I've seen a recent video of what Westwood looks like now, and I hardly recognize it. It doesn't look like it's on its last legs, it looks like it's all but gone under. As for Woodbine, I have previously heard that it was in trouble, but dang...this is nuts.

This mall is indicative of Canada as a whole. The demographics of the area surrounding the mall has changed from Canadian born to foreign born primarily from Asia and the mid east. The food court shows this as well. The other malls are destination malls where people travel from great distances to go to. This mall is a true indicator of Canada and what's more to come. The problem is our federal government and not some other country.

I remember having a birthday party for my older son when he was a little boy, all the children were so excited to go on the rides, it was a busy busy place! Now the way things are at this mall, it makes me sad. It kind of grieves me that things have deteriorated to this level. It actually used to have some good stores back then. We used to go there to see Santa too when my sons were small. I just don't get why things are like this, why did those stores leave this mall? Wasn't there some plan to change things up? I could have sworn there was something that was planned to change things up for the better, drastically. I am going to guess those plans failed, whatever deals came off the table.

IIRC the Hudson Bay is slotted to become a roller rink, the product you saw maybe in relation to that

Sign of the times my friend the youth of today would rather order things on their phones so 8:54 why would go to a mall especially with the no name generic stores that are to be had.People today missed the best times. In the 70s malls were packed it was an event to go to the mall

Miss the 80-90s. Past 10+ years of garbage government policies put us in this position. So sad.
