  But Aidan picks up smoking after they broke up. He was “perfect” but probably deeply not figured out as assumed. He was chasing urban cool girl, but we did not see his true colors

In S2 E11 she asks him what the ideal situation is for two people in a relationship, and he says &quot;Exactly what we have. I have my place, you have yours. We&apos;re together when we want to be, and we&apos;re apart when we want to be.&quot; I don&apos;t think he&apos;s a good guy or anything, but he literally said he wanted what they had in THAT moment. I don&apos;t think he was unclear, but Carrie keeps hoping he will change. &quot;I can change him&quot; was also very popular in society during this time, so I don&apos;t really blame her for this.

  Big and Carrie are so awful, they deserve each other! Aidan definitely should have run for the hills after the first time, she used him so badly!!

  Idk whenever I see her with big she looks old or older Than she is, idk if it’s because big is older than her or she isn’t stable and mentally checked out with him unlike with Aidan’s she looks younger same is here idk if it’s because he is younger than bigs or if he stable and manageable than big, even her style is more youthful with Aidan

  The right man for her was the Russian. He gave her the space she needed in the romance she craved. And he wanted to make a life with her in Paris, not big. And realistically she would brought her laptop with her. She could have written the new york girl in Paris thing she told Vogue about or something. I hate that they made Petrovsky seem like he was so much worse than big and made big seem like this &quot;hero&quot;.

  The whole relationship with Aiden was even more annoying and tedious than &nbsp;the one with Big. She only wanted Aiden the second time because she felt she couldn&apos;t have him. As soon as they are back together, she finds him annoying and starts pushing him away again. And yet we were supposed to believe that Aiden would have gone back to her 20 odd years later in AJLT? Come on! Carrie shoukd have ended up single. She wasn&apos;t capable of a healthy relationship at all.
