  Big never could have handled Samantha. She was too confident and powerful.  There is no way he could manipulate her.

  I think Sam was too bold, confident and sassy for Big. He liked the insecurity and obsessiveness of Carrie's.

  He wanted a doormat. As soon as he realized Natasha had her own mind, he went back to immature Carrie whom he can manipulate. Samantha will hit it and quit it, she ain’t gonna stand his BS.

  Why Big rejected Samantha? A predator won’t hunt another predator, that’s why. He sensed the danger to become prey himself. Carrie was harmless

  Look at the way Samantha approached Big. She’s as confident, connected, wealthy and secure in her sexuality as he is. She literally had a cigar in her mouth! That’s how men approach women and so many men don’t like to be treated like “the woman” in relationships because they treat women like shit

  I do feel like Sam wasn&apos;t 100% his type. Charlotte met his &quot;wifey&quot; standard: prim, proper WASP with &quot;old money&quot;. However, I do think Sam would&apos;ve treated him exactly as he deserved to be treated. She wouldn&apos;t have fallen for his nonsense. I&apos;ll give Charlotte credit and say even she wouldn&apos;t have fallen for his crap either. <br><br>Sam and Charlotte have more in common than they think - both women knew exactly what they wanted, didn&apos;t compromise on their values or sexuality, and didn&apos;t take a lot of craziness.
