purslane is such an underrated plant. the way it thrives when you basically ignore it feels like a life lesson. your garden tour makes me want to stop overthinking and just let things grow naturally.

Anne, as a gentleman gardener may I thank you for being my inspiration for trying new ideas and not fear garden failures, your willingness to share the good, the bad and authentic experiences is what makes me love your work. A tip of my straw hat to my garden therapist 😊

I would LOVE a second Anne channel that's not so 'family friendly'. Only because I see a glimmer of ornery in her eyes. She does an EXCELLENT job of keeping this channel of. It'd just be nice to see her cut loose is all. ❤

As someone who does understand sarcasm, I just want to say thank you for all your hard work. I know you’re the “lazy” gardener, but I appreciate you so much. I’m hoping to use your wisdom to have a beautiful lazy garden of my own. This season left a lot to be desired this year. Also would love to see a video on how you preserve all of your amazing harvest!!! Thanks Anne. Praying all the best for you and Adam… as long as he doesn’t step on another watermelon vine 😅❤

Don't compare your begining to someone else's middle. Love this!

Dear Anne - I had a good chuckle at your 'most of the internet doesn't understand sarcasm' comment. I'm a Brit and both my daughters (now in their 40s) are Americans born and bred, and they just. don't. understand. irony. I recently had yet another example of this when a comment of mine - outright laughed at by my Brit lady friends - somewhat offended both my lovely daughter's delicate sensibilities. It can be rough navigating this cultural divide at times! 😂

My daughter in law makes her own chili and garlic paste as a side business. She wears a full face gas mask when she cooks. Even with the kitchen door shut the air filter at the other end of the house flashes deep purple to indicate heavy pollution. Sadly I can no longer eat spicy food it has the same effect as being hit with pepper spray. Instant asthma.

Miss Anne, if you write a book I will buy it. I want to know more about lazy gardening. How to start and how it works. For someone that has struggled with depression and anxiety what you have accomplished is Amazing!!! You are very smart, kind. What you have to teach is important. And you’re beautiful!

The pith is what holds the chili pepper seeds, and the chemical produced is called Capsaicin :)

Ok lesson learned. Do not try and put on Anne of all trades on the TV if you just need background noise. You will end up throughly engrossed, laughing along and not doing what you were meant to be doing. Next time I will start out giving you my full attention. Thanks!
