How a Baby Great White Shark Survives Its First Year Alone

How does a baby great white shark survive its first year without its mother? From the moment it enters the ocean, a newborn great white shark is completely alone. There is no nursing period, no parental protection and no adult shark teaching it how to hunt. This wildlife documentary follows a baby great white shark through its dangerous first year. Although it is born more than a metre long with rows of teeth, powerful swimming muscles and highly developed senses, it must still learn how to catch fish, rays and squid through instinct, failure and hunger.
