We are just back from Japan. We visited Lake Kawaguchi on Nov 16th 2025 during the peak autumn foliage. Especially recommend the mapple corridor, breathtakingly beautiful, you will see every hue of red, orange and yellow folliage Unfortunately Mt Fuji wasn't very clear as there were clouds. Despite that this day trip was one of the highlights of our Japan trip.

In winter in Japnan (late november~) There is usually much less rain or snow. It's cold but air is clear and the view is very visible. Keep in mind, The climate in Japan changes quite a bit day by day dpending on when you visit.

I visited Kawaguchiko with my friends in October 2024.... it was rainy and the autumn leaves hadn’t appeared yet. This year, I’m planning to visit again in December with my little son, hoping for better weather :D Do you have any tips or must-visit places for a 1-day-1-night trip?<br><br>Thank you so much for this beautiful and helpful vlog :) :) it brings back great memories!! 🌸
