  Some info/corrections people have pointed out and I&apos;ll be adding more as people point them out:<br>-Though the citadel was created by the weavers, but it seemed that the conductors were the one to turn into the actual theocracy we see in game<br>-Cogwork core was created when the weavers were already gone, they only used actual bugs singing to keep GMS asleep. And what is waking her up, is the silk from her cocoon cage slowly getting used by the citadel.<br>-The correct term for the beliefs systems we see in game would be &quot;henotheistic&quot; rather than &quot;monotheistic&quot;<br>-Void given focus is a fusion of all the vessels shades, that&apos;s why they no longer are in the background like in the dream no more ending

  The Pale King didn&apos;t do anything to the Moth Tribe. They abandoned the Radiance entirely of their own volition. He was never a conquerer. That&apos;s why he made treaties with those who did not wish to join hin.

  when you&apos;re immortal, and you become forgotten with time. It just sounds like a hell of it&apos;s own. Never remembered, you will never find peace in death since you can never experience death. Nobody to help you. Nobody to talk to. Nothing to do. I can understand Radiance&apos;s crashout. I still think it was wrong and bad, but it was understandable.

  Thank you for bringing up how narcissistic personality disorder is a vaild disorder. To many people bring up narcissism as &apos;bad person disorder&apos; . Its nice to see a creator bring up that it has actual criteria in the dsm 5

  You are wrong about pale king, he couldn&apos;t stop himself from loving hollow knight and the sealing of the abyss is of shame. He saw them as just husks animated by voidcapable of holding a higher being. He felt horror and shame from his actions after realising that the vessels do feel and that his plans were flawed

  I think the answer might just be a mix of everything. Higher beings don’t necessarily work the same way, just like humans don’t always work the same way just because we’re all the same species. Radiance might want adoration from her followers because, due to how essence works, she needs to be remembered to exist, so it’s a survival situation that becomes a catalyst for revenge later when she does die and gets remembered. The pale king might be a bad parent, but that’s because he was desperate and not because he would actually treat his children as tools were he not in a dire situation, which would exume him from the bad parenting. So on and so forth.<br>All in all, it’s all a matter of interpretation, and I think that’s the beautiful part: there isnt one right answer. We’re all just winging it, just like we’re winging it in real life and pretending we actually know what’s happening half the time.<br>Great video, looking forward for more yap sessions please!

  There is little to suggest that the Pale King demanded dominance. I believe what he desired was reverence. Even then he seemed okay with not having it from everyone. Here&apos;s my evidence.<br><br>1. He made a treaty with the Mantis Tribe to continue doing what they already did with their Deepnest border.<br>2. He let the queen of the Hive train his own daughter, showing some positive relationship between the two royals.<br>3. The Forgotten Crossroads are known to almost everyone old enough to remember Hallownest as an old trade route, not one for tithes.<br>4. He made an agreement with Unn to ensure safe passage of immigrants and pilgrims of Hallownest through Greenpath, rather than subjugating the area.<br>5. All three dreamers entered the sleep of their own volition.<br>6. No mind control of puppetting of subjects bodies is seen outside of the Infection.<br>7. He denounced the needless sacrificing of citizens in the Soul Sanctum even though it seemed to have a slim chance of maybe working.<br>8. Looking at the two halves of the City of Tears, the disparity is about what you would expect in a city within a society that has at least a somewhat free-market economy. Compare this to the Citadel of Pharloom where there is a massive disparity.<br>9. I don&apos;t recall ever having to rent a bench, put money in an elevator, or pay for an automated confession booth that would always tell me to work harder in all of Hallownest.<br><br>Conclusion<br>My thoughts on the Pale King are that he took about the most moral and ethical route to power. He made himself the best option available to the furthest degree he could. His folly was an unwillingness to let go and admit defeat. However, even then I personally do not fault him for this as everything was on the line, including the well-being and free will of the bugs that chose to be his subjects, not just his own life and power.

  Hk bugs are just animals, on hollow knight it wasn&apos;t that clear, but after playing silksong i noticed how team cherry focused A LOT on instincts.<br><br>Hornet being capable of talking is not a useless gimmick to add more text, is a way to expand the world and explain stuff more easily, absolute cinema 🙏

  I don&apos;t think the Radiance was just sour for losing moths&apos; adoration. For a dream being, forgettance is death, so they were killing her by doing so. If all she wanted was worship, she could&apos;ve forced herself upon all of Hallownest through the infection before the King even arrived. Instead, she only starts it before &quot;taking her last breath&quot;. Radiance truly became evil the moment her life weighed heavier than everyone&apos;s pain.<br>(This is kind of a headcanon of mine, thought to share it still) Also holy smokes the algorithm gods better play nice, this video was so cool
