  In my view, the Green Prince is attempting suicide by Hornet. He clearly illustrates in his dialogue that he wants to die. He meets Hornet multiple times in the dream, each time speaking to her and not seemingly resenting her intrusion. It’s only upon reaching the throne room that he’s like aight this place is too holy gotta kill you ma’am.
