He did a fair job of explaining the basics . This isn't a knock on other sports but football is like playing 3 D chess all other sports are like checkers. An NFL or college playbook can have hundreds of plays they have to learn.
FYI 3 of the 5 largest stadiums in the world are college , Mich 107,000 Penn St 105,000 , Ohio St 104,000 .
If you want to see just what a bad ass sport this is checkout = Here Comes The Boom ! and yes do checkout the NFL Flyover , the greatest 5 seconds in sports.

"Special teams" are Sondereinsatzgruppen for the kicking portions of the game: kick-offs, field goals, punts.

Two videos you should watch that will inform you about College American Football: “Why the World Finds American Sports Strange” (the title is misleading. It’s all about college football) & “Why College Stadiums are the Biggest in the World” Both videos are by Tifo Sports by The Athletic

High school sports are really big. You should look into it. You'll be shocked. Your stadiums look like our college stadiums. No offense. That's just how it is. I think sports have a huge moral influence on our country. It teaches team work, encouraging others, problem solving, physical toughness, mental toughness etc...Really enjoying your channel!

He did a good job explaining. Three things: First, he showed mostly high school games it looked like. I'm guessing because major networks might have tighter copyright enforcement and he couldn't use footage from college or NFL games. But my college stadium held 105,000 fans. And it was always full. It brought in over 30 million dollars in revenue per season when I was there and that was 20 years ago money. I'm sure it's astronomical now. And secondly, getting 4 chances aka "downs" to try to move the ball forward only 10 yards sounds easy. But it's actually very difficult when you a) have to start the play by the "center" player tossing the ball through his legs back to the quarterback who is standing quite some distance behind ... so the ball is actually being thrown or handed off much farther distance than just 10 yards and b) you have all the other players on the defense trying to break through the line and tackle the quarterback "a sack" or obstruct the ball by jumping up and knocking it down or intercepting it away from your team. You have to throw with extreme precision to thread it through the opposing players and toward only yours. Lastly, it's a whole experience. It's not just the game. It's tailgating before. Or even just watching from the parking lot. We go out very early beforehand and grill or bring lots of food and drinks. People play music. You walk around and visit with friends or just meet new friends. Kids run around and play. The game may be at 6pm. Gates will open for seating an hour ahead. But you'll be out there enjoying the day from 9am.

I'd watch college football entrances to get a feel for the vibe. And also jolly had a run video about tailgating. Or anything about tailgating really. Especially in the SEC (South Eastern Conference... LSU, Alabama, etc all play there and the tailgating and culture is very cool).

College football is more popular and much better. You have eight teams that play in front of crowds of over 100,000 game.
