  Funnily enough, Dracula in the original Bram Stoker novel wasn&apos;t burned to a crisp by sunlight like any of his modern iterations, but the sun did drastically affected him so badly that it turned off his powers temporarily. It wasn&apos;t until <i>Nosferatu</i> kickstarted the &quot;vampires getting harmed by sun&quot; trope though.

  Of course we are consuming vampires! The right thing to do when a vampire shows up, is to bite the vampire first. <br><br>They NEVER see it coming.

  I love vampires, fae, Angels, etc. They’re just a step beyond being “Human”, and that’s why Infeel we can relate to them yet still find them mysterious and fascinating.

  Carmilla is an allegory for the wlw cannon event of that one toxic relationship you never forget because as bad as it was, it was so beautiful too.

  In the Castlevania franchise, Dracula&apos;s second wife was named Lisa who was a healer. What caused Dracula to fall in love with her was that she resembled his first wife Elizabeta who died when he was still human and was away fighting on God&apos;s behalf. Lisa would be executed as a witch by the church and her death would cause Dracula to declare war on all of humanity as a result.

  I think &quot;vampire as temptation&quot; thing works, especially with the reminder that a moment&apos;s indulgence for one could mean death for another, and &quot;I just want a little taste!&quot; could turn to &quot;This person will never taste, hear, smell, see, or touch anything ever again.&quot;

  Fun fact: Blood is an emetic. If you have too much blood in your stomach, it&apos;ll make you nauseous and eventually throw up. Vampires would need to develop a tolerance to it, or drink only in moderation so they could keep it down. I&apos;m leaning towards the former, because I drink blood all the time and it barely affects me anymore.
