  32 male here. &nbsp;Biggest piece of advice I can give you is find another hobby you genuinely enjoy that involves the community. &nbsp;Run clubs, books, local markets hell even a car club with the Blackwing. &nbsp;You meet people everywhere in the community. &nbsp;The more you get out of your house and explore your community the more likely you will make friends and find someone. &nbsp;<br><br>Me personally I do run clubs and motorcycle meets to meet people and find friends. &nbsp;I met a girl at a motorcycle meet (that I originally wasn&apos;t going to show up to) that was doing photography 5 years ago. &nbsp;We are currently engaged. &nbsp;Just get out there and do whatever your &quot;thing&quot; is.

  hearing you talk about the dating scene just makes me think of my own experince. im 30 now, i gave up about 3 years ago. i just cant... im not paying money for dating apps to get catfished, i dont really like going out to bars, and my idea of a good time is going to a military museum... so i&apos;ve accepted that my future is my model tanks and cats.

  Heya COD! Long time viewer, 26 year old male, and 12 or 11 year player of WT here. In the dating world, from my experience, the apps are pretty stink doo doo garbage. From my experience I really do recommend going to social events and just meeting people in person. I went to the bar to people watch and socialize and met my other half through that, but since you don&apos;t drink I would recommend putting yourself in situations where you get to meet all sorts of new people daily. For me, that&apos;s college right now. But when I was in the service it was all just about bopping around with the friends and meeting people that way. I recognize I lucked out, especially considering the other half is literally from the opposite coast from me and being able to meet her was a one in a million. But just because the chances are slim doesn&apos;t mean you won&apos;t strike gold eventually. One of my favorite quotes when I was dating around I got from TheMightyJingles, &quot;If you throw enough shit at the wall, eventually some will stick&quot;. So I just put myself out there until someone finally stuck around. Anyways, that&apos;s just my experience, so I hope you might find something in there that might help you out.   The best advice I can give to you is to be open, be social with people. Talk to people. Don&apos;t focus solely on wait for the perfect one, because if you focus on just waiting for the perfect person, you will be waiting for the rest of your life. Takes time to know some people and finding these kind of things. Don&apos;t know if this advice will help you but that&apos;s the best I got.<br><br>Edit: do not worry about standards set by social medie. It may seem like a problem, but once you start talking to people, then you&apos;ll realize that it doesn&apos;t have as big of a impact as you think. Still a little bit of a problem, but it&apos;s not that EVERYONE trusts in these standards.
