You cruised those big puddles ! Very pleasant trail ride, especially right after a storm. This is how one gets to know Big Bear, and you always have options to get away from the crowds.

My wife and I did that same trail to Hook Creek a few summers ago and the gate at the end was closed!! We had to back track to Rouse Ranch. Thanks for the local So Cal trail ideas!!

You need to go back to Pinnacles staging area and go straight out the gate and do 3N34X not the bypass, and for a little more a challenge, do it backwards.
