  Maye has a monster arm and ridiculous accuracy but the deep ball also requires one thing I’m surprised you didn’t bring up- how much worse their o line is than the rams. Specifically at picking up twists and stunts which the Seahawks abuse against bad o lines

  I think what makes Stafford so hard for Mike Macdonald and his defense to gameplan against is how good he is at analyzing what Seattle&apos;s tendencies were on defense. He always seemed to have an answer because of how long he&apos;s played. Seattle&apos;s exotic pressure looks were seemingly neutralized because Stafford always knew where to go, setting protections and having Kyren Williams pick up blitzes when necessary. Leaning on the run game certainly played a factor as well, but Stafford&apos;s veteran presence just gives them the best shot.<br><br>I think that Mike Macdonald and his defense will have more success against Drake Maye because of this lack of experience. They have had pass protection issues in the playoffs and not having as impactful of a rushing attack can allow Mike Macdonald to be more creative instead of having to sell out against the run. Drake Maye is a good quarterback, but like you said, he doesn&apos;t have the experience that Stafford has and has a worse surrounding cast.

  Let&apos;s sum this up so you can understand the context of the Patriots numbers. &nbsp; 8 teams that the Patriots played this season have moved on from their Head Coaching staffs. &nbsp; &nbsp;The weather hasn&apos;t been kind to the Pats in the Playoffs but Maye&apos;s numbers have dropped when the level of competition rose. &nbsp; It took a historically bad outing by CJ Stroud and snow storm second half against Denver who was playing with QB2. &nbsp; What&apos;s going to doom the Pats is their OL. &nbsp;I would say that neither team has a great OL but the Seattle OL is way more tested playing the Rams and Niners 3x each along with playing the Texans Defense as well. &nbsp; &nbsp;If they run stop and get pressure with the 4 man front they stay in 2 &nbsp;high shell and Mayes life becomes hell. &nbsp; &nbsp;Maye is not Stafford yet.

  Old guy here. If the Seahawks consistently keep a spy on Maye, not allowing him to have big runs on those 3rd and longs, they will effectively shut down the patriots offense. &nbsp;Once your team becomes a predictable offensive scheme, NE will be sitting ducks for the aggressive Seattle defense. &nbsp;You are so right. The lack of a consistent run game will force the patriots to take more chances in the passing game. &nbsp;I don’t think they will be up to it, not against this Seattle defense. &nbsp;<br>I’m hoping Sam Darnell gets his win and an MVP. <br>I love redemption stories! <br>Go Hawks.

  In my opinion I thought going into the playoffs the Rams were the second best team in the NFL behind our HAWKS. The intensity that our defense plays with is a joy to watch. I am hoping for a super blowout just so I can relax and enjoy the game. GO HAWKS!
