  The whole failed kickstarter plot bit is actually real - There Is No Game was originally a little flash game, and the creator Pascal Cammisotto launched a kickstarter to fund turning it into a full game. The kickstarter failed to get funded, but he still managed to get the full game finished anyway.

  Fun fact, the Russian voice running gag came from the original There is No Game, also narrated by the lead developer(he created the original on his own for a game jam), because people kept thinking he was Russian. The lead developer is actually French.<br>And the plot of the (not)game came from the fact that it was originally kickstarted, but failed to reach their goal, but the dev team persisted and made it anyways. They&apos;re developing a new game now, so it looks like their efforts were worth it.

  To give context for <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2knFeLM8kg&amp;t=4275">1:11:15</a> the kickstarter for this game only reached like 10 percent of its goal and the developer took it hard, but was still eventually able to make the game.

  There&apos;s another end credits scene for the yes option where game&apos;s creator is watching TV but every channel keeps playing the Wilhelm scream no doubt due to Mr glitch which causes the creator to get frustrated and hit the TV

  What a nice change of pace after 100%-ing Cookie Clicker! I bet this game doesn&apos;t have a whole clicker segment and won&apos;t cause any painful flashbacks!

  This video is how I found out that the flash game I ADORED and played probably a dozen times in middle school is now a full game. I’m so proud I could literally cry 🥲.
