  I got a random achievement when I played Plague called &quot;the plague is real&quot; where you cause the citizens to overthrow the government due to the government not believing the plague is real. I got it by evolving exclusively transmission and the only symptoms were coughing and sneezing. Idk if it&apos;s a hidden achievement or they removed it or something, but it made me feel really cool back when I got it

  I like how you touched on necrosis being so good in every way EXCEPT its main advertised way (dead population contributes to infectivity, making you nearly immune to accidentally burning out with too much lethality)

Your body produces proteins for several different reasons, and during the process of producing these proteins, your body needs to fold them. Similar to knitting a long piece of yarn into a scarf, folding takes long strands of raw materials and makes them into usable protein shapes. But, just like how knitting incorrectly messes up your scarf, protein folding can fail. This normally makes a protein useless, but can rarely develop into a harmful prion. Prions clump together and accumulate in your brain, damaging your nerves and slowly decreasing brain function until your brain cannot support your body, leading to death.

  Lore accurate prions would be op, considering they are 100% incurable. Genuinely some of the most terrifying diseases out there, I highly suggest learning about them!
