  I have always appreciated Bishop Rbt. Barron's sermons.  I also was a constant watcher of Bishop Sheen and loved his teachings.

  I am a priest. I recognize BP. Barron's explanation of the push against a holy hour. I'm fortunate that in my seminary, Mt.St Mary in Emmitsburg,  we were encouraged by Fr. later BP. Harry Flynn, and the rest of the faculty to make a daily Holy hour. We knew we were unusual in this from our classmates in other seminaries. I am grateful to our exemplary priests for showing us the way in our spiritual formation. I was ordained in 1979. My time and that of our co-seminarians has been well served by our devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.

  Bishop Sheen, resonated with people, He would keep what he said simple, understandable, and realistic to apply to daily living.<br>In this, Bishop Sheen, made everything taught achievable for everyone.<br>This is a viable gift and so sorely needed today.

  I&apos;m 72. Bishop Sheen confirmed my pious countenance at the rail with a smiling gentle touch to my cheek, saying &quot; smile Joan ( my confirmation saint name), this is a joyful event.&quot;<br>I&apos;d write him letters when I was upset or confused. He always answered, once reading my letter during his TV program.<br>My parents and 5 siblings turned slowly to stare at me 😮... recognized my complaint.<br>Problem solved. My first miracle delivered through this holy priest ❤

  The miracle attributed to Blessed Bishop Sheen is a what was discussed right at the beginning, a family was told their son would not live, he was dead for an hour, they invoked Bishop Sheen, and he is alive and well today and even carried the relic of Bishop Sheens jaw bone.

  Bishop Barron is absolutely correct Catholics everywhere should become familiar with scripture and let the fire is the holy spirit live in them and through them and be prepared to share that faith and the word of God made flesh which is our only way to God the father and life eternal

  I am 69, a cradle Catholic. &nbsp;Watching Blessed Sheen on a black and white TV in the late 60s was terrifying. &nbsp;The close ups of his eyes as he preached, or taught as he scrawled words on a blackboard ... our tv was black and white, &nbsp;but I saw blue shoot from his eyes. &nbsp;I always felt he could look through the tv and SEE my sins. &nbsp; I shudder to think of how much worse I am now, and I&apos;m certain he would have seen right through me today.
