  Miss Father Groeshel. He and Mother Angelica were great together.  A wonderful priest who didnt mince words.

  I was so blessed to be able to meet Fr. Groeshel back in 2002.  Eternal Rest grant unto him, O Lord.  Let Perpetual Light shine upon him.  May he rest in Peace.  Amen.

  Wow, I have to tell a story regarding the Course of Miracles. Several years ago when I lived in another state I had a coworker that I would eat lunch with all the time and we would always end up having these deep conversations about religion. She was a Wiccan, and at the time I was a Southern Baptist ( I am Catholic now). She would always try to debate with me and discredit Christianity. I got to know her well and knew her whole story. She was raised Christian Scientist and her mother was deeply involved with her Christian Science Church and teaching others the Course of Miracles during their “Bible study times”. My coworker praised it and and at the same time was a practicing witch. I did not know anything about the Course of Miracles at that time however I knew that if it could lead someone to think being a Wiccan was ok, it must be new age. The one good thing that came out of my debates with her is that she forced me to research the validity of Christianity , which ultimately led me to the Catholic Church. I moved away years ago so I don’t know if she is still a Wiccan but I pray for her that maybe I planted a seed ❤

  Fr. Benedict was a holy priest and a psychologist in practice.  It's not "wild" that he interned in a psychiatric facility.

  I met Father G at a one day retreat near Santa Cruz.  I was reluctant to attend but encouraged by a personal friend of his.  The day was winding down and I was called into a room by his assistant.   We chatted for about 45 minutes face to face.  I was amazed by the conversation because he told me everything about me.  We had never met!  From that moment I was transported from anxiety to joy!!
