I struggle with my upbringing as a catholic, I admire converts who have chosen to be catholic, when you are forced to be a catholic by an Irish catholic father and then see so many changes in the church, it's easy to turn away, please say a prayer for me

For some of us, there are several obscure persons here. A little more modern and well known is Robert Novak, a syndicated columnist, journalist, television personality, author, and conservative political commentator. He was born Jewish, converted at age 67 and died in 2009 at 78 from brain cancer. Our family enjoyed watching Capital Gang for many years starring Pat Buchanan, Robert Novak, Al Hunt, and Mark Shields.

Verdaderos testimonios de conversión, la acción del Espíritu Santo, y el libre albedrío, al decir ser católicos, El Espíritu Santo, sopla donde quiere y nadie lo puede detener.<br>Gracias a Dios.

I find it interesting that most of the converts presented here were Lutheran or C of E. Both of these religions are not that far off ftom the tenets of Catholicism. I was Luteran &amp; converted to Catholicism in college (I&apos;m 75 now). I feel more at home now in my faith now than ever beforem but I really don&apos;t think my feeling at home in my faith really matters--it&apos;s more about whether I follow Christ&apos;s teachings.
