I love the new crickets in the audio opener, and overall the production sound quality is really stepped up.

Even though my favorite is still Resident Evil:Retribution I had a blast watching the new 2026 film. The idea of this being an original story set during Resident Evil 2 had me curious at first but man did they do their thing with this film. It has a creepy vibe that makes the film intense while also having some action packed sequences that make this a fun watch as well.

I liked this one it had some darkly humouros moments in there to like when they were debating about who should get the keys or how that mass of infected kept following him all over place. Yeah i liked the runtime wasnt slow paced, Austin Adrams lead this one greatly, will he ever get a break in horror? Next stop he's going to be swallowed by a sperm whale can he get out? Will he get out? Will find out when Whalefall is out next month.
