  my grandfather was a personal witness to this battle. He worked as a civilian aircraft mechanic at Hickam Air Force Base. That sunday he was picnicking with my grandmother on one of the hills overlooking the harbor. He saw the planes flying in and watched the attack. He lost 3 of his good friends that day. I once asked him what his most vivid memory of the attack was. He said &quot;it was so quiet and peaceful, and then it was never quiet again.&quot; Frederick Kam 1920-2004

  It cannot be overstated how helpful putting these battles into a motion-overview is for understanding the order of events and the spatial context around them. &nbsp;I think you do it just right by providing some conventional context presentation before and after. &nbsp;Many of us lament the decline and death of TV channels like Discovery and The History Channel in the US, but folks like you have picked up that passion for visualizing history and kept it going with gusto. &nbsp;The old kings are dead, long live the kings.
