Shouldnt tys intake be from the inside od camper ? It would make more sense when aircon would circulate so when its colder inside AC just keeps maintaining the temp. On top of that you have placed in and out next to eachother so intake is pulling hot air from exhaust

You expect a 1kw? mini air con to cool a huge metal box in hot weather.

I have a smaller camper it might work with it. I've been looking at different options too. I suppose it would be pretty good if you only have it blowing directly on you. but I saw some nice units at the Camper show in Dusseldorf a couple of weeks ago that were about the same size and portable, they were a similar price, I think I'd rather try one of those. if it turns out to be pants I can always sell it.

Now you have proved the concept of the inline fans, could you perhaps find a high capacity lower speed fan? It will be physically larger, but there is no such ling as a free lunch.
