Camp shoes are pretty clutch at the end of the day to let your shoes dry and in the middle of the night if you need to answer the call of nature. Crocs are a great choice for that and kicking around town on a zero.

As an eyeglass wearer, I have contacts when I do martial arts and grappling, but I would never consider using them out in the wilderness, the general grime and weight of solution, etc.
