Watching this with sore shoulders after a 40km hike on a gnarly trail barely more than a wildlife path where I lugged 66lbs of stuff hits different.

Your b-roll with you smoking a cigar so nonchalantly is both hilarious and badass. And if I may suggest a tripod that meets those requests, I recommend the tripod by Peak Design. It's expensive af but it's my favorite one I've used.

I’ve watched a fair few gear videos like these. All of them are a chore to watch. Not yours those, I enjoyed every second.<br><br>One thing I liked (though understand why others wouldn’t do so much) is that you have quite a bit of very personal gear. Gear that was either hand made or out of production. Where other YouTubers might avoid that because, well, us viewers are probably looking for stuff we can buy for ourselves, it’s very real that the best gear setups won’t be found completely available commercially. I’ve also had weird little things that I find work best for me that aren’t available in stores. Setting up your adventure kit isn’t about having the newest latest and greatest stuff, it’s about having what works best for you!

You had me at knife. An ultra lighter with a real knife makes me feel like I'm not so weird after all. I mean I'm not tryna hike in animal skins or anything but how can a human not have a real knife in the woods.
