  As a new outworlder to arrakis but an absolute lover of dune and its lore thank you. I'll be following this. I tend to try and add a bit of rp to my games like this so going native is the aim. I hope they intend to add more mechanics like hiding in the sand later on as learning the fremen story as we go leans into that and i hope they go for it. Muad'dib is wise to the ways of the desert.

  Doing the AQLs gets you to the Fremen Deathstill which is 25k of water from just 1 body. It is part of the story arc.<br>Also, do the Class leveling, a Mentat Sentinel at level 3 can really make a difference, fyi.

  Pretty prepared. &nbsp;I&apos;ve been practicing a speedrun strat straight to Carbon (steel) on the Public Test Client (Steam/PC). &nbsp;Been playing this game since PC launch. &nbsp;Funcom had a closed PS5 beta a couple of months ago and then used the PTC to polish the onboarding experience. &nbsp;For example, I hated using a PS5 controller to play but now they have it feeling so good I prefer playing with a controller on both platforms. &nbsp;They dialed in all of the sensitivities so that even using a buggy or flying with an ornithopter feels amazing. &nbsp;Melee feels better on controller, even. &nbsp;Obviously, ranged combat should feel less accurate but they&apos;ve added 3 stages of aim assist for controller so there&apos;s no huge benefit for using a keyboard/mouse. &nbsp;This is important since crossplay is coming. &nbsp;Another example, they added a Base Reconstruction Tool. &nbsp;You don&apos;t abandon your first base in Hagga South, anymore. &nbsp;You store it in this tool and take it with you. &nbsp;The first 80 hours of gameplay is magical (prior to reaching the Deep Desert Endgame portion of the game). &nbsp;Everyone who owns a console should play this. &nbsp;Watch Dune Part 1 and 2, if you haven&apos;t. &nbsp;Game visuals are based off of these movies. &nbsp;Part 3&apos;s coming Dec. 18. &nbsp;Funcom&apos;s going to start doing things with the Deep Desert. &nbsp;By the time new players get that far there should be a few exciting changes (not to mention a whole new Polar region to explore, a second Hagga but freezing cold)! &nbsp;I skip copper and iron because I like starting my semi-permanent base A.S.A.P. that I keep until I start spending vasts amount of time in the Deep Desert, then I might rebuild right up against the shield wall so I can exit the map in seconds. &nbsp;Keep making videos. &nbsp;This &quot;Sleeper Title&quot; is about to AWAKEN!!! &nbsp;👍 &nbsp;p.s. &nbsp;I&apos;m hyped because the duping exploits got patched on PC but not before destroying economies on many worlds (servers). &nbsp;I LOVED trading on The Exchange (auction house) but the duping debacle ruined that. &nbsp;Can&apos;t wait to start fresh and console doesn&apos;t seem to suffer from the constant stuttering most players experience on PC. &nbsp;♥♥♥♥♥♥
