I used to own a CEC TL5100Z, the best player ever. Before that a CDP-337ESD together with the TAN-77ES amp.

"5 cheap CD players"<br><br>First one is $400<br>No price included for the next 3.<br>$350 for the last one.<br><br>AI has an interesting perspective on "cheap".<br><br>I paid $5.99 for my Sony DVD player.<br>My Pioneer SX-980's tone controls, bypass switch, loudness switch, and crossover controls will make the music sound exactly how I want it to.

My Pioneer PD D9 Mark 2 is over 10 years old. I wouldn't swap it for anything.

I don’t recommend that denon I have exactly the same and the laser has packed up and went back to my old marantz cd63se at least it works on the original laser since I brought it new

Don't know why but my marantz cd6006 gorgeous detailed layered buttery smooth sound . Tried CD6007 cd60 and denon. (But the higher end 1700 cd/sacd was close)None w the magic. At least, on my system.
