Jason stalking people in a cold winter forest... That would've been brilliant!

Well Jason X was about Jason in outer space so they got that part right that's more than I can say for Jason Takes Manhattan where they're only in Manhattan for about 5 minutes.

The part where he freezes the girl's face and shatters it is still the best Jason kill.

Jason Voorhees just wanted to go to space. He wanted to take out Leprechaun, the Critters, Pinhead, and James Bond.

I've always appreciated Jason X because it doesn't even try and pretend to be something that it's not. It knows what it is, and doesn't hide from it. Doesn't even waste anytime trying to tell us a Story. It starts with Jason killing folks, and pretty much ends the same way.

Jason X is one of my favorite of the series. Despite how much fans crap on it. Kane Hodder is the best Jason ever.

They should have just set it in the prison facility at the start and had him hunting people through the dark corridors.

I sell this to one friend at a time with the following sentence.  "It's Jason skewering Star Trek The Next Generation."  That's why it works, despite all the flaws... because it puts this insane killing machine in this holodeck loving super science playground and the guy just gets to demolish it.

I have a soft spot for Jason X.  One of the things I liked was that the characters were not stupid. They made decisions based on the information they had instead of being idiots.  They were for the most part likeable too.  Yes it could have been better, darker, but it could have been so much worse.

I really loved Jason's pre-uber look in this movie. It showed his age and he looked badass.

I'm just gonna say, before he transformed into what came to be known as Uber Jason... That was the best Jason has ever looked. They nailed that shit down hard.

I don't even care. Jason X was a good time. Knew what it was and just played into it. The series jumped the shark well before this one.
