I’m Dave’s sister Terri and this was a loving tribute to my brother Dave and Jays friend. We miss him as you can imagine. Thank you Jay!

Just when I thought I couldn’t love Jay as a dude any more, he shows us real emotion over the loss of a dear friend. RIP Dave, and Jay, thanks for honoring him and showing the world….its ok to care. 😢 🙏🏼👏🏼

Wow, I'm in tears. I only know Dave from this channel. But I still feel like I lost a friend. I know you care deeply for your friends and your employees like they're family. He will be remembered fondly

Hearing about the loss of Dave hurt. I really liked him when he showed up in your videos. So sorry for your loss, to everyone who is affected by his passing.

On a happier note: These videos are my favorite of all you do. The behind the scenes, hearing a little from the guys too, is lovely.

God rest and keep David Killackey; prayers and condolences for his family and friends.
Some of you may remember it was David who grabbed Jay when the White steam car sprayed
him with gas and ignited his upper torso; David grabbed Jay and literally smothered the flames
by hugging Jay into his chest, then called 911 and put out the fire on the vehicle also.
A hero, not just a decades-long friend. The world could use a few more like him.
- Ed on the Ridge

Sad about Dave. To me, Jay's response highlights the respect Jay has for these craftsmen. They seem more than that. They are his family. Real class!

Thanks for sharing about your friend Dave. Goes to show this hobby is more than the vehicles, it’s the people. To his memory!
