  Jay’s devotion to his wife and his marriage vows are how it should be. I just lost my wife of 61 years last week due to complications of ALS. The last year was terrible for us, especially for her but we made a vow when we married and I was with her to the end.

  No matter how rich, or how famous, Jay Leno is as down to earth and as nice as they get. &nbsp;The stories never end. &nbsp;He was in my brother’s high school class, Andover High School, Class of 1968. &nbsp;My brother used to tell us stories about how Jay used to make people laugh. &nbsp;Jay is a national treasure, smart as they get, but he’s too humble to take credit for any of this.

  My wife of 32 years died from ALS about 3.5 years ago and I cared for her during her decline. &nbsp;I understand completely the point Jay makes about caring for his wife. &nbsp;In front of God, my parents and every person that was important to me I promised “Until death do us part.” &nbsp;And out of love for her, I did.
